The North Wolf Medium Grade Clay Bar is 100g of A+++ grade detailing clay built to lift the contamination a wash leaves behind. Industrial fallout, paint overspray, tar specks, tree sap and rail dust all bond into the clear coat where shampoo cannot reach them. Medium is the workhorse grade, with enough bite to clear paint that has been left too long between details, while still being controllable on a normal finish. Work the bar across a properly lubricated panel and the surface goes from gritty to glass smooth, which is exactly what paint needs before you polish, seal or coat it.

Which Grade Do I Need

Medium grade suits paint that has not been decontaminated in a while, or where you can clearly feel grit through a plastic bag. It can leave light marring on soft or dark paint, so plan to follow it with a polish. If the car is maintained and clayed regularly, choose the fine grade bar instead.

How to Use

1. Wash the car first and keep the surface wet.
2. Soak the clay bar with water or clay lubricant before you start.
3. Glide the bar lightly over the lubricated panel to lift the contamination.
4. Once you have finished claying, wash the vehicle again with water.
5. Dry the surface, then polish, wax, seal or coat it.

Please Note

Always work with plenty of lubricant and never on a dry panel. Knead the bar to a fresh face regularly, and throw it away if you drop it, because embedded grit will scratch paint.
