CERAKOTE Ceramic Glass Coat Protectant Kit

I am a big fan of using Rain-X. Love the way the water repels off the windshield. Didn't love how long it didn't last. I wanted to try something that was a little more permanent. Saw this in the Cerakote website. Decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. This package comes with 20 packs of wipes - 1 per pack. The box did not have any gloves in it, although I read somewhere that they did come with them, I think. Anyway, used 2 packs to do the windows on my truck. You need to apply the protectant, and then let it set until it beads up. Could be a few minutes, or longer. I did it in my garage during the winter so it took a while. Once it beads up, just buff it off with a microfiber cloth. Looks good and doesn't look streaky. Rain water does bead off. Hoping this lasts longer than the Rain-X. If not, I have many more packs to use.

It dried very quickly, which I didn't expect, and I didn't even have time to treat the entire glass. Then I had to wipe everything down for a very long time. Of course, I did it in the parking lot during the day, but it wasn't that hot there.
