Best product on the market hands down!!!!
If I could leave a 10-star review, I would!!I have used other headlight restorer products, and all were hard to use, took hours, and gave mediocre results at best. But this one was quick, easy, and turned out perfect.I have a 2011 Corolla with only 70k miles. I want it to last, but it is looking a little ragged. I decided to give Cerakote a go on the headlights. After using the first step oxidation removal wipes, I was amazed and ready to declare victory. They were clean and clear with NO SANDING. I was reluctant to go on to the second step, sanding, but the instructions said it would make a better surface for step 3 to adhere to. So I just wet sanded with the 3000 grit very lightly. Then, after applying the sealer, they came out glossy, clear, and perfect!! The whole thing took 30 minutes!!Don't waster you time on other products. This is the one.
Bonus Tip: On each stage, once you think you've finished w each stage, do it some more. I stopped early on the first headlight because it looked evenly cloudy...I missed some on the lower part which is a bit noticeable. Not a big deal...I used painters tape to mask off my painted areas as well and below where the water/chemicals were going to run off.I've not tried anything like this before but Cerakote had such good reviews and was easy I thought I'd try. It's amazinghow much of a difference there is. Honestly I don't think it would have passed inspection before I did this. Very easy and didn't take much time. No special skills or tools needed as everything you need is in the box except a water spray bottle... Way less painful of a process than I thought it would be.
I recently used Cerakote to restore the headlights on my 2010 Tucson, and I am absolutely amazed by the results! The headlights were cloudy and faded, significantly diminishing my night driving visibility and the overall look of my vehicle. After considering several options, I decided to give Cerakote a try, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.Applying the product was straightforward, and the results were immediate. Once completed, the headlights looked as good as new! The clarity restored is impressive, allowing for much brighter and clearer illumination at night. Not only has this improved my driving safety, but it has also enhanced my car's appearance, giving it a fresh and polished look. What stands out about Cerakote is the durability of the finish. Since the application, I haven't noticed any signs of fading or cloudiness returning, something I've struggled with in the past after using other products. It's a fantastic investment that truly revitalized my vehicle.Overall, I highly recommend Cerakote for anyone looking to restore dull headlights. It worked wonders for my Tucson, and I am thrilled with how bright and clear they are now!
2011 Honda Odyssey lights had started to develop a pretty rough look on the lenses. Did a fair amount of research and online comparison and decided to give this kit a shot. Overall, pretty straightforward and scanned the QR code to follow the manufacturer's YouTube video for cleaning, sanding, and application. Total time was about 45 minutes to complete both lights. Made sure to use straight across, long sanding strokes to try and keep everything as uniform as possible. Did the same with initial oxidizing wipes prior to sanding.Once the water and sanding portion was done, I took my leaf blower and definitely made sure the surface was completely dry. It was also very smooth to the touch (which it should with 3000 grit paper). The final clear coat was a simple slow, methodical, 50% overlap with each swipe across the headlight lens. The results were quite better than the original look. I'll have to see with some time as to how well it holds up and lasts.
